NATIONAL REBUILDING DAY

National Rebuilding Day is the annual signature event of Rebuilding Together. Held annually on the last Saturday in April, thousands of volunteers across the country participate in rebuilding and rehabilitating hundreds of homes and nonprofit facilities in various communities. Over 150,000 homes and facilities have been repaired on Rebuilding Day since its inception. 

In New Britain, Rebuilding Day involves hundreds of volunteers from neighborhood businesses and organizations coming together with support from local and national sponsors to rebuild 10-15 homes in a single day. Rebuilding Day projects are often larger in scale and include internal and external upgrades in order to improve the health, safety, comfort and enjoyment of clients' homes.
