Homeowner Eligibility Guidelines

You may qualify for no-cost home repairs from Rebuilding Together New Britain! If you meet all of our Homeowner Eligibility Guidelines, there are 3 ways to apply: online application, download an application or call us at 860.832.4389 to request an application. 

• Homeowners must reside within the city of New Britain, CT. If you reside elsewhere within CT, please see our list of local Rebuilding Together affiliates. 
  

• Homeowners must plan to stay in the home for at least three years after completion of the project.
  

• Homeowners must be current on their mortgage and city taxes.  

• Homeowners must belong to one of our target demographics. RTNB serves the disabled, elderly, families with children and veterans of the military. 

• Homeowners must be considered low-income by HUD standards and reasonably unable to complete the work on your own.
